Major Upgrades & Services in Fairborn, Ohio: Lateral Fiber Route, Full Redundancy & New PoP
We have a few major initiatives in Fairborn, Ohio, this summer. To begin with, we’re installing a lateral fiber route between the Cities of Fairborn and Huber Heights that will give full redundancy to Wright State University.
In addition, we will be delivering services to the City of Fairborn’s water treatment plant, which uses a high-tech computer and instrumentation system including a 24-hour emergency response to system problems.
Lastly, we will be installing a Point-of-Presence (PoP) in Fairborn to better serve and improve connectivity for our customers in the region.
These initiatives with allow us to provide services to more customers in the area. Also, construction will tie together several laterals currently in the community in order to complete a contiguous high-count fiber throughout the area.
Overall, this work will entail an over $600K investment in the Fairborn region.
