Independents Fiber Network’s “Deep Fiber” initiative continues to expand the reach of our fiber infrastructure throughout Ohio.
As of February 2018, we are significantly complete on three fiber routes – totaling in excess of $600K – to extend the reach of our fiber deeper into Butler, Darke, Montgomery and Warren Counties.
These ongoing investments demonstrate our commitment to the region in extending our fiber infrastructure deeper into the urban and rural areas we serve.
Miamisburg, Ohio: Public-Private Partnership
Independents Fiber Network has recently completed our fiber buildout within the City of Miamisburg.
For this specific project, we placed over five miles of high density fiber throughout the City. What’s particularly noteworthy is that the route places fiber in close proximity to the Montgomery County regional 911 dispatch center.
This investment allows us to serve the City of Miamisburg with some of our Ethernet-over-Fiber services, as well as positions us to offer our services to numerous other entities within the city.
Monroe, Ohio: 5-Mile Corridor Extension
Independents Fiber Network has recently completed its fiber buildout along Ohio 63 between I-75 and Ohio 4 in the City of Monroe, placing nearly five miles of high count fiber in this corridor.
This allowed us to provide service to multiple towers along the route. Additionally, it complements the fiber facilities we have acquired in the area.
Moreover, this construction strategically provides fiber in front of Amazon’s planned Monroe fulfillment center.
Trotwood, Ohio: Fiber Extension
Independents Fiber Network continues to expand its fiber infrastructure to reach deeper into the western side of Dayton, Ohio, and the surrounding communities in that area.
Recently, we completed our fiber build out near Trotwood, Ohio. Our team placed over a mile of high count fiber to serve a macro cell site and to position us to be strategically placed within the City of Trotwood
Overall, Independents Fiber Network remains committed to growing our network to better serve western Ohio.
